Review | Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow

The sought after Maybelline EyeStudio Color Tattoo 24hr Cream Gel Eyeshadow definitely a must have for any beauty lover and drugstore shopper. Color 24HR Tattoo is a creme eye shadow that is perfect for on-the-go. I purchased the shade Permanent Taupe and On and On bronze, two very popular shades in the collection. The line consists of a rainbow of colors ranging from Timeless Black to Metallic Pomegranates and even Everlasting Navy - some of the many gorgeous shades you can purchase online or in-store. They retail for £4.99 in BOOTS

Permanent Taupe  is a stone grey shade with undertones of blue. This will look amazing on paler skin tones and would look gorgeous on people with green or even blue eyes. It is a creamy matte finish and can act as a base for any smokey-eye look. Permanent Taupe would also look extra fab when paired with silver eye shadow. On the other hand, On and On Bronze is a shimmery bronze creme (my favorite out of the two) have hints of gold flecks. As I am of medium skin tone, this shade enhances my naturally tanned skin and gives me a pop of glam whenever I feel dull. Unlike Permanent Taupe, On and On Bronze has a satin finish. The bronze creme would look amazing on medium to deeper skin tones and particularly on anyone with brown eyes.

They both have a velvet-like touch and a soft creamy consistency that blends amazingly onto your lid - in my opinion a brush isn't event needed for application. Your finger are your best brushes when applying cream products. The creme shadows feel so lightweight and are highly pigmented with lasting power and longevity that, like the name states, will last up to 24 hours. Although this bold statement may not work for everyone, I have dry skin, therefore many creme products would potentially lasts longer on my skin/lid rather than a person with oily skin/oily lids. An eye shadow primer may be needed for the creme to last longer. One thing's for sure, they are 100% waterproof. I have tested these babies out by running the swatches under a tap; these colors would not budge unless you scrub them very hard. These products are definitely a big thumbs up for me. and I will be buying more  very soon!
