ZOEVA | NATURALLY YOURS PALETTE
I've always browsed through Zoeva's makeup brushes range and never took a chance to scour through their makeup line. I had recently won Angie from Chocolate and Lipstick's 1 year giveaway ( Thanks Angie) which contained a massive box of goodies. One, in particular, was this ZOEVA Naturally Yours Palette.
First impressions? Gorgeously light and elegant with a hint of chic. This neutral palette retails for EU 17.50. and consists of 10 amazingly pigmented shades that are all very earth-toned allowing this palette to work for all skintones! The palette is paraben-free and mineral oil-free. The package design is definitely an eye-catching array of light brown, flowing smoke effect. The palette comes in a sleeve which is handy for keeping palettes clean. I did find that since this palette was made out of a card-like material, the eyeshadow did stain the outside rim as shown in the image below.
ZOEVA is known for their high-quality products so I was not surprised to have their eyeshadows living up to their reputation. One swatch was already highly pigmented. The consistency also feel luxuriously soft and buttery with color to perfection and bulletproof longevity. The palette also contains a selection of matte and shimmer shadows ranging from shimmery golds, matte browns and satin nudes which is ideal for a day to night look. And how about that black shade huh! Uh-mazing. The formula contains micronized-pigments for extra dimension and bolder looks perfect for smoking out.

I cannot stress enough how much I love these eyeshadows. I will definitely be purchasing a few more palettes from ZOEVA in the near future and posting a few tutorials on how to mix and match the eyeshadows for different occasions. The only significant downfall is that their palettes do not come with a mirror. It is such a shame since the palette would have been a lot better with a mirror on the opposite side of the eyeshadows. Nevertheless, an amazing product from an amazing brand. I highly recommend!

Wanderlust | ♥
wanderlust
noun
- a strong desire to travel."a man consumed by wanderlust"
I would love to travel the world. Unfortunately, my bank account says otherwise. I love scrolling through travel blogs especially on Tumblr and Instagram: spectacular landscapes, good food, great people, big smiles, picture perfections and amazing opportunities to travel the world. I, on the other hand, fall on the other side of that spectrum. I hardly travel and when I do, it's to visit family abroad. Don't get me wrong, family always comes first, but I dream of vacaying alone or maybe with the hubby (if he's lucky), away from all the nappy changes and troublesome tantrums, maybe in the white sandy beaches of Boracay or petting the tigers in Thailand. Just a quick getaway from my normal life - even if it's just for a day.

WHERE WOULD YOU GO?
My Basic Handbag Essentials / Michael KORS Jet Set Medium Travel Tote Review
The contents of my bag can get pretty crazy when dealing with a toddler - Mc Donalds Happy Meal toys to random baby socks can be found hidden away in every nook'n'cranny by the end of the week. I hardly change or switch between bags therefore the never-ending pit of receipts, soviets and crayons can also be a bit embarrassing whenever I ask my friends/family to grab something from inside. If I have lost a specific shade from my MAC lipstick collection - it's most likely in there too.
I own the Michael KORS Jet Set Medium Saffiano Leather Tote which is surprisingly very big for a size medium. This stylishly-sleek and multi-funcational bag is such a classic and is the ultimate get-away tote for any occassion - to the beach, maybe a date with your boyfriend? Or how about a night on the town - enough space to keep your flats. The bag consists of three slots, all very spacious and ideal for on-the-go office workers or bloggers. (insert winking emoji ) a great accessory holder for laptops, books (nappies and wipes) and tablets. The middle part is the only zipped compartment (such a shame since it is the only downside for me) leaving your contents exposed. Therefore, I use the zipped area for my phone, wallet and other valuables.
This bag retails for £250 and comes in various sizes and colours.

MY BASIC HANDBAG ESSENTIALS
These are my basic bag essentials, believe me, my bag is never this tidy but for this particular post, I decided to de-clutter my dirty little secrets. I love large structured bags as I find it suits me more (being a plus-size and all) and also allows me to stuff a lot more unnecessary (but necessary) items such as three more lipsticks and an eyeshadow palette that I will never use throughout the day. #GirlProblemsHand sanetizers, wipes and a few other baby bits not included since I will be posting a What's in my Baby Bag very soon! |
WHAT'S YOUR ULTIMATE NO.1 HANDBAG ESSENTIAL?
